• Substantial oval locket decorated to front with scrolled twisted rope motif and gold beading
• Depicting three squares with floral decoration surrounded by a scalloped border
• Accented throughout by white, blue, red, and black enamel; exhibiting very minor loss (louped)
• Opens on a hinge to reveal two oval recesses; one side with a removable covering
• Tested as 14 karat gold
• Circa: 1870s
• Measures: 1 1/4 x approx. 2 inches (including bale)
• Total weight: 17.9 grams
