Debuted as a one-of-a-kind sample piece for Alessandro Michele's notorious 2019 Fall/Winter Ready to Wear Runway show in Milan for the fashion house Gucci. The show displayed playful broodiness in the form of a dimensional wardrobe and armor-like jewelry intended to mimic the traditional Pierrot collars from Italian operas. Citing an interest in the "human condition," Michele sought to draw attention to a theatrical play on identity.
